If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life - Roger Caras
Lola (1212)

"She walks like a woman, but talks like a man, oh my Lola, La La La Lola", meet Lola this talkative lady is sure to steel your heart when she looks at you with those soulful eyes and immediately hypnotizes you. Lola was returned to SBR when her loving adopter could no longer care for her due to their own health issues. Lola has many medical issues including squamous cell carcinomas which have been removed although the vet will not be surprised if they have not metastasized. The recovered from pneumonia and has severe arthritis. She has problems walking, often times looking like she is drunk, and falls down frequently. She loves going for walks but does fall and must be picked up. That’s ok; we do whatever she wants to keep her happy. We want Lola to enjoy life, and when she shows interest in doing something, we always encourage her. Lola is also terrified of thunder storms and fireworks. She takes Rimadyl daily for her arthritis and Zyrtec daily for her allergies as she chews her paws. For Lola her now “furever” home is with her foster parents her love her like unconditionally and will continue to provide her all the love and attention her previous owner did. Due to her numerous medical conditions Lola will remain in SBR’s care. If Lola’s story has touched your heart and you would like to help with her on-going medical expenses or virtually adopt Lola, click the “Adopt Me” button and follow the instructions.
