If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life - Roger Caras
Rascal (1509)

Meet Mr. Rascal but you can just call him Rascal. Rascal is a 10 year old boy who is coming in at a hefty 66 pounds but he’s on his way to losing the extra weight and being in top form. Rascal is a real love muffin. He’s happy to lie with you and for you to pet him. He plays well with other dogs including younger ones and gets along with cats. He has a foster brother pig he doesn’t like so well. He loves plush toys and especially loves ripping the squeaker and stuffing out. He was aptly named when he was named Rascal. He is housebroken and will use a doggie door if you have one. He walks well on a leash although a little excited at the start and then slows to basset mode. He listens well for most of the time. He does get a little excited over your food so you need to stay firm with him and he will mind. Rascal will let his younger foster brother know when he’s had enough play-time but not in an aggressive manner. Rascal did come to us with a severe ear infection which is being treated. As any hound owner knows once this has happened diligent ear hygiene is required and possibly daily drops. He’s a champ and will give you no problems with this. He does continue to maintain a diet for weight loss and walks have helped. His foster parents supplement his reduced food with green beans. His initial weight loss has already helped him with mobility and a continued will only improve his health as with any of us. If you feel you have what it takes to keep up with the senior Rascal and can maintain his ears and weigh loss regime, fill out your application today and schedule your meet and greet today.
