If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life - Roger Caras
Fred (1588)

Yabba Dabba Doooooo! That’s what Fred said when SBR sprung him from the shelter! Meet Fred, this beautiful 3 year old weighs 46 pounds and still has puppy in him. He is an affectionate sort who will love nothing better than snuggling on the couch. Fred enjoys playing with toys, other dogs and chasing squirrels and birds. He loves going for walks but has not mastered his leash manners quite yet as he does still pull. He does understand “NO” as his foster parents are working on his manners and has said he “corrects well”. Fred was an outside dog for his first 3 years so he is still working on housebreaking. His fosters have him at about 90%. At this time he does have accidents when left alone. His fosters noticed he will mark over other males so perhaps a home with female dog(s) is best and a home without cats. He would also do well in a home where somebody is home much of the time. Fred has the typical challenges any younger, untrained dog would have such as counter surfing and getting into trash that is not hidden or secured well. These are not issues that cannot be overcome with proper guidance and his fosters are working on them as well. Fred would also dowell in a home without children. Fred has completed his heartworm treatment and is ready for his furever home. Do you have room in your home and heart for this is beautiful young hound that will blossom to the hound we all know he can be? If you think you have what it takes, fill out your application and schedule your meet and greet today.
