If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life - Roger Caras
Hector (1854)

Hector is a gorgeous 2 year old boy that came to us from Columbia. He was found as a stray and was very under weight. He is now healthy and ready to find his forever home. Hector is almost fully potty trained. He still has a few accidents overnight, so in the meantime he wears a belly band. He does show some slight food aggression, so will need to be fed separately. He is also learning to build trust with humans. If he is in “his safe place” (under a bed or chair) he will need to be coaxed out and then you may engage him. We are not sure of Hector's past life other than he lived on the streets. It is apparent he is learning the ropes on how to live with a family. Hector does enjoy attention. He will snuggle and loves to be petted and get belly rubs. Hector enjoys going out, taking car rides and walking on a leash. Hector does need to be THE ONLY dog in the home as he gets very jealous of the other dogs. He is ok when meeting new “fur-friends” on walks/ outings. Also, NO young children as he gets startled easily. If you have the perfect home for Hector, based off his needs listed, please fill out an Adoption Application.
