Meet Daisy, a sweet and loving 8-year-old Basset Hound who is currently a forever foster with Suncoast Basset Rescue. Daisy was found as a stray in the woods, where it seemed she had been living for some time. Despite her rough start, Daisy’s gentle nature shines through, and she’s made herself right at home with her foster mom.

Due to medical reasons, Daisy has been placed in a forever foster home, where she receives the special care she needs. She was diagnosed with diabetes, but her dedicated foster mom, in collaboration with the veterinarian, has worked hard to manage her condition, and Daisy is doing well. She receives daily injections of insulin.  In addition, Daisy is prone to urinary tract infections (UTIs), so she requires close monitoring to stay healthy and comfortable.

Daisy is a calm and affectionate girl who loves to be loved. Her foster mom definitely gives her lots of that!
