Meet Lucy.  This senior girl had a rough start to life and was found as a stray when she was 3-4 years old.  She was in bad shape and believed to have been abused.  She was surrendered to Suncoast Basset Rescue because her family has a toddler and Lucy does not like to be touched on certain parts of her body. Lucy is very timid with new situations. She is still adjusting to her foster home despite being there for several months now. She has found an ally in her foster sister, Angel. Because of Lucy’s age (13) and her shy, anxious personality we believe that it would be best for Lucy to live out the rest of her life in her current foster home.
