Eleven-year-old Daphne was dropped at a small shelter, but the shelter knew she needed serious attention and placed a call to SBR.  She was covered with fleas and  ticks and tested positive for heartworm.  Due to the heavy heartworm infestation, Daphne’s heart and pulmonary artery were enlarged and she became a Forever Foster.  Her foster mom describes her as a bit of diva.
