The Waddle is one of Suncoast Basset Rescue’s main annual fundraising events. Held in Ocala on February 22, 2025, it draws approximately 175 hounds and their basset lovers from across Florida. The Waddle and its sponsors are widely publicized on social media, including Facebook & Instagram and on SBR’s website, as well as in SBR’s monthly email newsletter which reaches over 4,000 households. Sponsors at any level help underwrite the cost of the event so that 100% of the proceeds can go towards funding medical care for rescued hounds. We take in an average of 2 bassets per week; almost all need basic medical care and some need drastic surgical interventions. Your support makes this possible!
